Built in the 19th-century, the luxurious Olissippo Lapa Palace is nestled on a hilltop overlooking the Tagus River, in the city’s diplomatic quarter and close to various shopping opportunities. Set in a beautiful sub-tropical garden, with the chance to sunbathe on a lounger in the pool area, relax in the sauna or unwind in the spa, it offers guests with the ideal base for a truly relaxing stay in Lisbon. It’s also only 20 - 30 minutes from the airport and five minutes from the buzzing docks area.

The hotel’s 109 elegant and opulent rooms are spread across three sections – the Palace Wing, Garden Wing and Villa Lapa. All have a unique design inspired by Art Deco, Colonial, Algarvian or Neo-Classical styles. They all feature Portuguese fabrics and hand-crafted furniture, king beds, free Wi-Fi, well-appointed bathrooms with L’Occitane amenities, a work desk, hairdryer, robes, slippers and mini bar. Rooms on the Noble Floor of the palace have been redecorated with lamps, mirrors and furniture recovered from the original palace, while the gold leaves on the walls of the Suite Count of Valencas have been restored.

Activities

The city’s historical area and shopping opportunities are just a step away from the hotel. If you’re feeling lazy, it’s the opportunity is always there to just kick back and relax all day at the hotel’s beautiful outdoor swimming pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens, dotted with ornamental fountains and streams, or indoor pool.
