General

A far-flung idyll, Amorita is perched on the southwestern tip of Bohol, an island fringed by white sand beaches and azure waters. Enveloped by lush vegetation, the resort blends in with its tropical surrounds – putting you close to nature and the sea. Situated just a stroll away, the blissful Alona Beach is right on your doorstep, while views of the sun setting over the sea with Siquijor Island on the horizon will be truly unforgettable.

Room Description

A choice of cosy rooms, spacious suites and private villas mean there’s a whole host of stylish options for your stay at Amorita. In the Deluxe Garden rooms, modern wood furniture, king-sized beds and minimalist design make a change from the norm; while the suites feature plenty of space and cosy living areas. Villas come kitted out with daybeds and LCD TVs, as well as their own private gardens and plunge pools.

Activities

Even the most idle of beach lovers will want to get up and explore Bohol, with attractions for the adventurous ranging from hikes up the Chocolate Hills to cruises on the Loboc River, or exploring the island’s centuries-old churches, watchtowers, and heritage houses. Tours can also be arranged to see the likes of tapioca pearl making, raffia weaving and oyster and milkfish mariculture. If you want to get out on the water, scuba diving, dolphin watching and island hopping can be easily arranged too.

Dining

Nestled beside the resort’s infinity pool is an equally superb restaurant, Saffron, taking its name from the stunning sunsets you can view from your table. Furnished with woven chairs from Filipino craftsmen, its menu includes plenty of local specialities and mouthwatering seafood, from calamari to chicken binakol (chicken simmered in ginger-infused coconut water. A comforting international line-up also includes pizza, braised beef and fish and chips.
