The luxury Kings Pool Camp is situated on the banks of Linyanti River in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve adjoining Chobe National Park in Botswana. Guests will enjoy a five-star lodge service surrounded by lush reserve overlooking a pretty lagoon, home to an array of wildlife and its cacophony of animal sounds. The lodge is also well placed for spotting herds of elephants likely to gather at the Linyanti River.
The camp consists of nine luxurious tented rooms each set underneath a thatched roof, on a high wooden deck with views over the Kings Pool Lagoon and its wildlife. Decks are equipped with plunge pools, while bathrooms are en suite with double indoor showers and an outdoor shower. The rooms are tastefully decorated with crisp white linens, dark hardwood floors and furniture, brass fixtures, leather furnishings, and hand-woven textiles.
The camp offers guided game drives in open safari vehicles, as well as night drives, and nature walks. Apart from the reserve's enormous elephant population, game, and all the major predators are resident and regularly sighted, including lion, leopard, cheetah, and wild dogs. There are also numerous hides on the reserve, where guests can sit in silence to observe and take photos of the various animals. The camp also has an outdoor pool for a refreshing dip.
Guests can enjoy meals and drinks at any time of day on a teak deck underneath a thatched roof.
