On this fascinating tour you head for the hills with a funicular train ride up Penang Hill to enjoy this cool retreat away from the tropical heat below. On top of the hill you have a great panoramic view of the capital city George Town and see lots of exotic flora and fauna.
Next visit one of the largest Buddhist temples in South East Asia. Kek Lok Si Temple is also known as the Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas. A seven tier Pagoda dominates this stunning building, which is influenced by the architectural styles of the Thais, Burmese and Chinese and watched over by a beautiful bronze statue of the Goddess of Mercy. There is so much to see and do when visiting Penang and this hill and temple tour will probably be one of the highlights of your visit.
