Experience the best of the West Coast from San Francisco up to Vancouver and then return by train.

Day 1: Wineries to Redwoods

Today we head over the Golden Gate Bridge to the US wine growing regions of California, the Sonoma/Napa Valley.
Overnight in the Sonoma Valley

Day 2: Sonoma - Redwoods

We drive up the coast today, keeping a lookout for whales and other sea life as we head to Crescent Beach and the Redwoods.
Overnight near the Redwoods at Crescent City

Day 3: Redwoods

Continue along the coast through Redwood country. These trees have not let up growing for over 1000 years and it shows. Explore Redwood National Forest.
Overnight in Eugene

Day 4: Mount St. Helens

Continue north to the fascinating geological phenomenon of Mt St Helens, which erupted as recently as 1982 and continues to attract the attention of volcanologists worldwide. We will see how, coal and stratified canyons were formed in just a few hours during this cataclysmic event.
Overnight Woodland

Day 5: Olympic National Park

Continue exploring Mt. St. Helens today and end with a drive out to the mountains and beaches of Olympic National Park
2 nights in Olympic Peninsula

Day 6: Olympic National Park

We travel today to Olympic National Park. We will see the amazing ecology of the rainforest. We will also travel up to Hurricane ridge.

Day 7: Victoria

Catch the ferry to Victoria, British Columbia taking us from the US to Canada through the famous Juan De Fuca Straights. This is a chance to see whales and other marine life on and about the islands.

Day 8: Victoria

We're relaxing today in the Inner Harbour of Victoria. It's a free day. There's time to take a whale watching tour, or see the gardens Victoria is famous for (Butchart and Hadley Gardens).

Day 9: Gulf Islands Ferry to Vancouver

Catch the morning ferry today for a gentle cruise through the Gulf Islands to Tsawassen. Drive to Vancouver to explore China Town, Stanley Park and be transported across the entrance to the port of Vancouver to Lonsdale key over graceful Lions Gate Bridge. Free time this afternoon to shop and explore the city.

Day 10: Vancouver

Free day to explore Vancouver, one of Canada's premier cities. Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium are just a few attractions that are sure to not disappoint

Day 11: Vancouver - Seattle

Today you get the morning and afternoon to yourself. In the evening catch the next train south to Seattle for the evening.
Overnight Seattle

Day 12: Tuesday - Seattle

After an early breakfast, Seattle style, you'll head to the train station again and ride the rails to San Francisco.

Day 13: Wednesday - San Francisco

You'll arrive in the morning and either make your way to the airport or check your luggage at your hotel and explore the Great City of San Francisco. We hope you had a great experience.
