After your flight touches down in Calgary you transfer to your downtown hotel where your Jonview Canada Roadbook is waiting at reception. The remainder of the day is at leisure when you can see some of the wonderful sights in this stunning ocean side city.
Today you go to the Kananaskis valley, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and travel through Kananaskis country which is famed for its rugged mountain scenery all along the edge of the scenic Kananaskis River.
Beautiful scenery is all around you in the valley and today there is the chance to really enjoy it with a variety of outdoor activities on your doorstep. You can play golf, swim, play tennis, go horseback riding, hiking or biking. Overnight in Kananaskis.
Today visit the world famous Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls and ride the Sulphur Mountain gondola for wonderful views. Then leave Kananaskis and drive past Canmore and Harvey Heights on the way to Banff where you stay overnight
Today is free to take a guided tour of Banff National Park and do more exploring in town. Visit the Banff Natural History Museum, try river rafting or take a boat trip on Lake Minnewanka. If you want to relax, try the Banff Hot Springs then enjoy another night in this great tourist town with its superb shops and restaurants.
Today your journey is a real treat. Leave Banff and call in at Lake Louise and Peyto Lake where the scenery is stunning drive over the spectacular Icefields Parkway taking an Ice Explorer ride on the Columbia Icefield.
Full day to relax and tour Jasper and the surrounding area. Try a boat cruise on Maligne Lake, visit Miette Hot Springs or take a ride on the Jasper tramway. For the more adventurous there are guided tours of the national park with river rafting. In the park you will take the routes used by fur trappers two centuries ago.
Today you leave Jasper and drive past Mount Robson take the Yellowhead Highway toSun Peaks the highest peak in the Rockies. Sun Peaks is a great ski town in winter but is popular with tourists in spring and summer as it nestles in beautifully rugged scenery
Today you leave the year round resort of Sun Peaks and drive past Kamloops. Travel through spectacular Fraser Valley and Hell's Gate seeing the breathtaking scenery of the Fraser Canyon before arriving in relaxing atmosphere of Harrison Hot Springs
Enjoy a relaxing day in the soothing waters of the mineral hot springs. If you ever tire of the warm waters then Harrison Lake offers a wide sandy beach and numerous recreational activities. Spend another night at Harrison Hot Springs resort.
Leave Harrison Hot Springs driving along the rugged coastline passing through Chemainus and Nanaimo then travel back across the water to Victoria. Visit the Inner Harbour, Bastion Square and enjoy afternoon tea in Beacon Hill park.
More time to take in all that Victoriar has to offer and fit in a visit to Butchart Gardens before catching the ferry for a mini cruise across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver.
There is so much to see and do in Vancouver and today is free for you to make the most of it. While in this thriving city try making time to visit the MacMillan Planetarium, Chinatown, quirky Gastown, Capilano Suspension bridge, Granville Island, Grouse Mountain and Stanley Park
