Any holiday Down Under is always an exciting and memorable experience and this two day adventure that can be taken while staying in Sydney is a real winner. Watch for kangaroos and wallabies as you head off to the Hunter Valley to sample some of the world's best wines and tour the vineyards then hear all about Aboriginal culture and history the following day before experiencing more wines in this wonderful region . This short excursion makes a great add on to any trip to Australia.
Our first stop is at the Australia Reptile Park, where in a delightful setting surrounded by kangaroos, wallabies and pademelons, we enjoy morning tea/coffee. Our first visit is to Mt View Estate home to two of the oldest vineyards in the picturesque Mount View region, we enjoy a Wine and Cheese Pairing Tasting. Our next visit is to Bimbadgen Wines. We then continue on to our lunch venue amongst the vines. Here we enjoy a relaxing 2 course lunch. accompanied by wine. After lunch you are dropped at your accommodation of choice with the remainder of the afternoon free at leisure
In the morning there is more time at leisure. Lunch today is at your leisure. You are collected at approximately 1.30 - 2.30pm to re-join the tour.Prior to re-joining the tours there is time to enjoy a selection of experiences consisting of : A Wine Theatre for an educational video on wine production, additional Wine Tasting at a local cellar door, for dedicated cheese lovers there is additional cheese tasting options or for Beer Lover's you have the opportunity to purchase (own expense) a beer tasting paddle before leaving for Sydney at approximately 2.30pm
