If you fancy a true rain forest experience this short tour of Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Parks is a must. Over two days you can immerse yourself in this World Heritage area stopping at spectacular gorges, crossing raging rivers and trying aerial walkways. You will stay for a night in the forest and can venture out of your hotel with a guide for a memorable nocturnal walk. A Tropic Wings coach will pick you up from your hotel to commence a two day Cape Tribulation and Daintree tour. Journey to Port Douglas via the Captain Cook Highway, one of Australia's most scenic coastal drives. Explore Wildlife Habitat with a guided tour through three wildlife environments; the rainforest, the wetlands and the grasslands. Cross the Daintree River by vehicular ferry and travel through Daintree National Park. Enjoy lunch before continuing to Cape Tribulation for a guided rainforest walk along a boardwalk with great photo opportunities, then stroll along the beach with spectacular views of this iconic World Heritage listed site. Drop off at your accommodation. Dinner is at your own expense this evening
Start your day with breakfast (included) and enjoy the morning at your leisure. After lunch re-join your coach for a stop at Alexandra Lookout with magnificent views of the Daintree River and Coral Sea. Embark on a Daintree River Cruise and spot crocodiles, tree snakes, water birds and other wildlife as your guide takes you through the mangroves along this crocodile infested river. Sit back and enjoy the return journey to Cairns. Tour concludes at approximately 7.30pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.
