Kangaroo Island Tour Cruise/ Fly

Description

If you are on holiday in Australia this short but exciting tour of Kangaroo Island is a real treat. Beginning in Adelaide, you are driven through rolling hills to the coast where you take a ferry to the island. Nature and wildlife walks are a key ingredient of the trip and you will be staying in the Aurora Ozone Hotel . After a two day stay on Kangaroo Island you will fly back to Adelaide where you can continue your adventures Down Under.

Day 1
Adelaide- Kangaroo Island

A coach will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning then you will travel south through rolling hills along the Fleurieu Peninsula coastline to Cape Jervis to board the 9.00am ferry to Kangaroo Island. On arrival, visit Clifford’s Honey Farm to enjoy an informative talk by the beekeeper followed by tastings and an opportunity to sample honey ice-cream and honey beauty products. Travel to Vivonne Bay for lunch and later visit Seal Bay for a guided beach walk among a colony of wild and rare Australian Sea Lions. Then watch a Birds of Prey free-flight demonstration, an interactive and educational display of native Australian birds and raptors before travelling back to Kingscote to watch the pelican feeding. Later you are taken to your hotel.

Day 2
Kangaroo Island

Today travel to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery to sample the products, then to the centre of the Island to the Parndana Wildlife Park for a guided tour, and the opportunity to feed kangaroos and see koalas. From here, travel to Hanson Bay Sanctuary for lunch and a walk through Eucalypt trees to look for koalas before driving on to Flinders Chase National Park, renowned as a sanctuary for native animals. The tour of the park will take you to the rugged southern coastline for a walk on Remarkable Rocks for great photo opportunities and stunning sea views, and Admiral's Arch boardwalk which takes you down a rugged cliff face to reveal this spectacular rock archway, a natural nursery and safe haven for New Zealand fur seals.

Day 3
Kangaroo Island - Adelaide

After breakfast make the most of this morning and see some more of this fascinating island before you are picked up at your hotel and driven to the airport to catch your short back to Adelaide where you will be dropped off at your hotel. This short Kangaroo Island 'hop' makes a great add on to any holiday in Australia and is a good way to get close to some of the country's exotic wildlife.

No problem with you but Cathay Pacific not the best! They messed up on the outward flight so I had a fair bit of stress and my suitcase didn't arrive until one day after me.
