If you are planning a holiday to the fascinating Philippines then this seven day tour, which begins and ends in the capital city Manila, is an exciting option. The adventure begins with a tour of the pulsating city then you head off to Bohol and Cebu to relax at beautiful beach resorts and enjoy river cruises, shop at colourful local markets, see all the sights and learn about the history of the islands and see some stunning scenery along the way.

Day 1
Arrive Manila

On arrival at Manila International Airport you will be met by one of our experienced tour representatives and taken to your hotel in the city. After relaxing and re-charging your batteries, the rest of the day and the evening is free for you to go out and explore and try the local cuisine at one of the fine restaurants.

Day 2
Manila

After breakfast at your hotel you are taken on a morning tour of Manila. Stop at the Intramuros, the Walled City, and visit Fort Santiago, an old fortress at the mouth of the Pasig River. From there travel on to San Agustin Church and Casa Manila then cross the river and drive through the Oulapo district, the old downtown area and the colourful flower market. Later visit Santo Tomas University and the Chinese Cemetery. The rest of the day is free for shopping and more sightseeing.

Day 3
Manila to Bohol

After an early breakfast today you are picked up from your hotel and driven to the airport for your flight to Tagbilaran. There you will be met and taken to the Bohol Beach Club where you will be staying for the next three nights. Relax after the journey before being taken on a short tour around Tagbilaran city seeing all the main sights.

Day 4
Bohol

You will see the beautiful countryside around Bohol on a full day tour. First stop at the centuries old Baclayon Church then see the man made forest of Bilar and visit a traditional blacksmiths. Then it's on to the Chocolate Hills, hundreds of uniformly shaped limestone outcrops that resemble over sized chocolate drops. Later visit Loboc Town and from there take a boat cruise down the Loay River, passing villages, palm plantations and mangrove swamps while enjoying a picnic lunch on board.

Day 5
Bohol

Today is free for you to relax and enjoy all the facilities at the Bohol Beach Club, the only first class resort in Panglao Island, a seaside sanctuary for beach lovers and scuba diving enthusiasts. Here you can soak up the sun on the white sand beach, shop at the boutiques and gift shops or take a trip to nearby Balicasag Island, which is a popular dive site for local and foreign divers offering world-class aquatic adventures.

Day 6
Bohol to Cebu

Today after breakfast you are picked up at the Beach Club and driven to the city pier for the one and a half hour ferry boat ride to Cebu, where you will be staying at the Maribago Bluewater Resort. After settling in you are taken on a tour of Cebu, visiting the monument to the Filipino chieftain Lapu Lapu, the Basilica of the 400-year-old Image of the Child Jesus, the shrine of the Cross of Magellan, the Spanish Fort of San Pedro, Casa Gorordo, the Taoist Temple and the Carbon public market.

Day 7
Depart Cebu

Today your short but exciting and relaxing Philippines tour comes to an end, but not before you have enjoyed some more sun bathing on the beach at your resort. Later you will be picked up and driven to the airport for your short flight back to Manila. Here you can stay on and extend your holiday in the capital city, take another tour around the country, or go to the airport to catch an onward flight or begin your journey home.
