Travelling to Cape Town is always a pleasure but there is no better way to visit than as a passenger in one of luxurious Rovos Rail's Pullman suites. After breakfast passengers visit the Big Hole at Kimberley, the diamond museum and take a tram ride around town. After lunch the train departs from Modder River Station outside Kimberley and travel overnight via De Aar and Beaufort West on route to Matjiesfontein.
Today you will visit the historic village of Matjiesfontein in the morning before the Pride of Africa departs taking you through Touws River, De Doorns and Worcester on the way to Cape Town where you arrive early evening giving you time to go exploring in this wonderful city.
