An astonishing range of unforgettable experiences are on offer on this two-week tour. You'll explore the buzzing cities of Cape Town and Johannesburg, feast your eyes on the glorious scenery of the Garden Route, taste fine wines and gourmet meals and get up close to some awe-inspiring wildlife, including all the safari Big Five.
You'll be met on arrival at Cape Town International Airport and transferred to your hotel, after which you'll have the remainder of the day at leisure to relax or begin exploring.
After a morning at leisure, you'll be collected from your hotel this afternoon for a tour of this vibrant city. Weather permitting, you'll begin at Table Mountain, before heading back into the city itself to visit the Company Gardens, the SA Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant flea market at Greenmarket Square before returning to your hotel for an evening at leisure.
Today you'll enjoy a full-day Cape Point and Peninsula tour. You'll travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a picturesque coastal village with magnificent mountain views, where you can take an optional boat trip to Seal Island. From here you'll continue via Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breathtaking coastal drives, to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll continue to the historic village of Simon's Town, which boasts charming Victorian architecture and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Finally you'll visit the lush Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, before returning to your hotel.
You'll spend today exploring the Cape Winelands, travelling through magnificent mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads to Stellenbosch for your first wine tasting of the day. Next you'll travel over the Helshoogte Pass to the town of Franschhoek, known as the Gourmet Capital of South Africa, for another wine tasting and lunch at one of the town's many award-winning restaurants. Time permitting, you'll enjoy a final wine-tasting at a Paarl-region estate before heading back to Cape Town.
This morning you'll depart Cape Town, travelling along Route 62 to Barrydale for lunch before continuing to Oudtshoorn, "feather capital of the world", where you'll tour an ostrich farm. You'll check into your accommodation in the late afternoon before enjoying dinner.
This morning you'll visit the awe-inspiring Cango Caves, one of the natural wonders of the world, before continuing to the stunning lagoonside town of Knysna, where you'll have some time at leisure to enjoy the waterfront. Your next stop will be The Crags near Plettenberg Bay, and you'll enjoy a short cruise up the Keurbooms River before continuing to your accommodation, where you'll have time to freshen up before dinner.
After breakfast, you'll have the chance for some unforgettable encounters at the local Elephant Sanctuary, where you'll be able to touch, feed and photograph the elephants. After lunch, you'll travel to Plettenberg Bay for a visit to Birds of Eden, the largest free-flight bird aviary in the world.
This morning you'll travel along the final leg of the Garden Route to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park, where you'll stroll along the suspension bridge across the Storms River to enjoy the incredible views. Afterwards you'll continue to Port Elizabeth, where you'll have the evening at leisure.
This morning you'll transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. After being met on arrival and transferred to your hotel, you'll have a chance to settle in before this afternoon's city tour, which will explore the area around City Hall, Newtown Cultural Precinct and Maboneng Precinct, the scene of this booming city's recent revival. You'll visit the Ghandi Memorial to see how art is being used to revitalise the inner city, and enjoy the bird's-eye views from the top of the Carlton Centre. You have the evening at leisure.
This morning you'll enjoy a half-day tour of Soweto, the cluster of townships synonymous with the struggle against the apartheid regime. After touring some of the key historical sites you'll enjoy lunch at a township tavern before spending the afternoon exploring the excellent Apartheid Museum.
This morning you'll depart Johannesburg for Mpumalanga, on South Africa's eastern border (its name means "Land of the Rising Sun"). You'll travel via the spectacular and aptly-named Panorama Route and, time and weather permitting, will stop at God's Window to enjoy the unforgettable views, believed by many to be South Africa's finest. You'll arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon, with time to check in and freshen up before dinner.
This morning you'll transfer to the Manyeleti Reserve, which borders the Kruger National Park, for an authentic African bush stay. Here you'll be able to enjoy both morning and evening game drives, during which you can expect to see all the safari Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhinoceros) as well as spectacular birdlife. At the camp itself you'll enjoy comfortable accommodation, with excellent service and food.

This morning you'll enjoy your final game drive before breakfast and your transfer to Hoedspruit Airport, where your tour ends.
