Some cities boast rich culture, vibrant nightlife, a cosmopolitan atmosphere and extraordinary architecture, while others boast breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary natural wonders. Cape Town, is lucky enough to be blessed with all of these attractions and so much more. With its bustling harbour, world-class beaches, top-notch vineyards, and its mountainous surroundings brimming with diverse flora and fauna, Cape Town consistently captivates the hearts of all who visit.

Day 2
Cape Town

In the afternoon you are picked up from your hotel for a city tour - a geographical and cultural extravaganza showing you Cape Town from its historical beginnings to modern buildings and malls. The tour starts with a trip to the top of Table Mountain on the cable car then back in the city you visit the Company Gardens, the S.A. Museum, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea market in Greenmarket Square. As you will discover, this exceptionally scenic city is in a class of its own.

Day 3

Stellenbosch, boasts great beauty and culture and with the sheer vastness of wine estates you are spoilt for choice. Travel over the Helshoogte Pass to the town of Franschhoek, the Gourmet Capital of South Africa, for a wine tasting before taking time to enjoy the fabled culinary skills of the local chefs at an award winning restaurant.

Day 4

The accommodation in SA was fantastic. The Qatar flights were not great. Excellent plane with reasonable legroom but the food and offhand service were shocking - to the extent that we would not choose that airline again.

BA's handling of firearms is a fiasco. An expensive fiasco. The protocol BA told you did not match what T3 security chose to do, and G4 [the outsource that manages firearms paperwork landside] stated that T3 security are out of step with T5 security AND head office. I paid an additional £315 to get my rifle onto BA059 and charging for the carriage of the ammunition case per a second firearm is a travesty. I am appalled at BA's lack of professionalism in central bookings, in T3 security and their T3 ticketing.
