The fabled Masai Mara, situated in the south west of Kenya, is known as Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserve. Famous for its abundance of lion, the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress, it is without a doubt one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations. And on this three day tour you will experience all the stunning highlights while staying at the Mara Rianta Camp. The Masai Mara supports more than 95 species of mammals and 570 recorded species of birds, so have those cameras and binoculars at the ready!
Your adventure begins in the Kenyan capital city of Nairobi, where you will be met at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or a city hotel by one of our tour representatives and taken to Wilson Airport for your short scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be met by a guide and driven to Mara Rianta Camp. Following lunch, there will be an afternoon game drive returning to camp for dinner as the sun sets.
Rising at dawn, have a quick cup of tea or coffee before setting off on a game drive before breakfast, catching the animals hunting, feeding and playing before the heat of the day sets in. The rest of the morning is at leisure for you to relax back at camp before further game drives in the afternoon. Return to the camp as the sun goes down for a memorable dinner under a star studded African sky.
Following another early morning game drive and breakfast, you will be picked up at the camp and driven back to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi. On arrival back in the capital city you will be met and transferred to your Nairobi hotel, or the international airport, where the safari ends. This short tour makes a great add on to any holiday in Africa and will provide you with unforgettable safari experiences.
