Accommodation at Peppers Bluewater Resort is in the form of hotel rooms, suites and one, two and three bedroom self catering villas, all with private balconies from where you can enjoy the either stunning lake or mountain views. Décor is stylish and contemporary in earthy natural tones reflecting the surrounding Mackenzie landscape, with accents of vibrant red and blue. Peppers Bluewater is a place for enjoying the great outdoors. Enjoy the hot pools experience surrounded by alpine plants, fir trees and snow in winter, with views of Lake Tekapo and Two Thumb Mountain. Because of its location, in a Dark Sky Reserve, Peppers Bluewater is also one of the best places for star gazing, so it’s worth taking a trip to the Mount John Observatory. Have a relaxing treatment at the Tekapo Springs Day Spa, with its traditional plunge pool at lake temperature, or for golf enthusiasts the nine-hole Cairns Golf Club has a stunning view of the Mackenzie Basin. One of the best ways to appreciate the beautiful surroundings is on horseback, and there are guided treks from one hour long to overnight, or you can enjoy a scenic plane tour over New Zealand’s tallest peaks and longest glaciers.
