Location

This stunning hotel is set in a spectacular building by architect Ruy Ohake in stunning landscape by Gilberto Ekins, in the upscale Sao Paulo residential area of Jardins. With a green-weather copper façade and circular windows like giant portholes, the Unique features what is possibly the finest roof terrace in Sao Paulo, offering amazing views of one of the world’s most vibrant cities – and if you can tear yourself away, the hotel provides a wonderful base for exploring Sao Paulo and its surroundings.

Rooms

With an interior designed by Joao Armentano to match the exterior’s curved design, the Unique’s 85 rooms and suites have barely any angles at all. A blend of hi-the details and natural elements, the rooms are a study in ultra-cool modernism. Each of the Standard rooms has a queen-sized bed, air conditioning, LCD TV, CD and DVD player, an MP3 connection, a workstation with cable and complimentary wi-fi, two phone lines, sleek white furniture, Brazilian hardwood floors, and magnificent views of the city from large round windows. Bathrooms also have bathtub and shower, Bulgari toiletries and, just in case you forget where you are, Havaianas slippers. The Champs Elysees Suite has added treats like Nespresso coffee makers, a large comfortable living rooms and views of the Ibirapuera Park and the Jardins neighbourhood, while the enormous Oasis suite has two Queen beds, a separate living and dining room, control lighting and an entertainment centre with an iPad universal remote. Activities

The Unique is a place to go if you want to be constantly amazed. In keeping with its spectacular design it has a breathtaking crimson-lined swimming pool that runs along the edge of the root terrace, protected by a glass wall, and surrounded with parasols and sunloungers where you can relax and take in the incredible surroundings, while the public spaces have towering ceilings, and are lined in beige marble. There is a library, sauna, fitness centre and massage menu, and then if you can still bear to leave the hotel, outside is the trendy Jardins area and the whole of Sao Paulo on your door step to explore.

Dining

The stylish Skye restaurant is set on the roof top with breathtaking views over the pool and the city beyond. Breakfast is served from 7am, while lunch and dinner are served daily with innovative menus created by renowned chef Emmanuel Bassaieil. The bar serves a great selection of cocktails and lounge music. The Wall Bar is located in the hotel lobby, and serves a with 24-hour access to the hotel internet.
