Or if that sounds like a bit too much hard work, you can just float in the Infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. If you can prise yourself away, the beach is just few steps away, and there are all kinds of activities on offer from snorkeling and Scuba diving, to canoes, beach volleyball and fishing trips. Further afield, trips can be arranged to Victoria, the smallest capital city in the world, with its Botanical Gardens, which are home to giant tortoises and exotic orchids. Or visit one of the Marine Parks, with hundreds of species of coral and fish, and explore further south of Mahé, where you will find beautiful white sand b

Dining

At Allamanda the famous DoubleTree breakfast is served at Les Palms Restaurant, and international themed dinners – Indian Ocean seafood and Creole cuisine are served in a relaxed buffet style with live cooking stations and spectacular ocean views. For drinks and afternoon tea, where else than the Oceanview Bar – especially romantic for cocktails watching the sun set into the Indian Ocean. And lastly, squeeze in a trip to La Plaine St Andre restaurant, a traditional plantation house and home to the Takamaka Bay Rum Distillery…
