Location

This stylish 4-star boutique hotel is located inside a 19th-century house along a small, quiet street between the Champs Elysés and Faubourg Saint Honoré; areas famous for their art galleries and couture fashion houses. The letter ‘A’ within its name refers to its location on the Rue d’Artois; the alphabet – it has 26 rooms; art – the hotel has its own gallery; and the shape of the Eiffel Tower. It’s a relaxing convivial space, packed with modern charm where guests can relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a few metres from the Saint Philippe du Roule metro station and the hotel offers an airport shuttle service.

Rooms

Hotel Le A boasts 26 cosy rooms, fully equipped with the latest technology. They all have a minimalist design using simple shades of grey and green against white walls, with wooden furniture. All are equipped with a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, a mini bar, bathrobes and hair dryer. Junior suites have armchairs and sofas, while the apartment on the top floor of the hotel boasts lots of natural light, views of the capital’s rooftops to the Eiffel Tower, a lounge, a bedroom and a white marble bathroom.

Activities

Paris’s most famous avenue, the Champs Elysées is a stone’s throw away, with its fashion boutiques, jewellery shops, as well as cinemas, restaurants, and clubs. A short walk from the Champs Elysées roundabout, you’ll find the Petit Palais and the Grand Palais, originally built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition and recently renovated with a new glass dome. Other sights within walking distance include the Gabriel Studio, Marigny theatre, the American church, Jardin des Tuileries, the Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre are within easy reach.

Dining

There’s no restaurant, but guests can enjoy a relaxing drink or afternoon tea in the contemporary bar with its glass roof. It’s an open space styled like a New York loft, with painted white bricks, and decorated with art works by Fabrice Hyber including a ceramic wall, a woven Mexican carpet, various canvases. There’s also a library wall holding 300 books covering topics from ethic jewellery, fashion to design and photography.
