Location

Built in 1920 as a private residence on the famous Wenceslas Square, the Ambassador Zlata Husa hotel couldn’t be much closer to the heart of Prague. Situated on what is now the pedestrianised area, it’s the perfect base for exploring the City of One Thousand Spires, with its wealth of cultural, historical and architectural wonders.

Rooms

The Ambassador Zlata Husa has 162 rooms, including 33 apartments and 37 with views of Wenceslas Square. All the rooms are airy and spacious with high ceilings and chandeliers, and are elegantly furnished in the Art Nouveau style, with king or twin beds, while extra beds can be arranged on request. Each has a phone, wi-fi, safety deposit box and satellite TV, and spacious marble bathroom with a whirlpool bath, shower and hair dryer. The Suites have separate sitting and sleeping areas, and can accommodate one or two extra beds so there’s plenty of room for you and the family.

Activities

The Ambassador’s Thai & Wellness Club specialises in Thai massages which are delivered by Thai professionals, as well as a range of relaxation and wellbeing therapies, including beauty wraps, Indian Ayurvedic massages, special massages including a pepper and a chocolate massage, and an ultimate relaxation herbal steam sauna treatment known as Svédan Box, so if you do venture into the spa, you will almost certainly emerge a different person. Ninety per cent of Pragues historical sites are within walking distance and, Wenceslas Square itself is bursting with historic buildings including the National Museum, and exciting shopping opportunities, so you only have to step outside the hotel’s door to start exploring.

Dining
