Soar above the rainforest

This fun trip above the trees consists of 15 cables and 18 platforms which are divided into three sections that are found mostly in the trees, and which are designed to provide visitors of all ages with a memorable contact with nature.

Climb the cone

Known worldwide for its near perfect cone shape, Arenal volcano has become a must-see destination when holidaying in Costa Rica. Go on a floating safari

Caño Negro is a wildlife refuge, and along with the Río Frío area they make up a large humid region considered to be one of the richest in biological diversity in Costa Rica. A bus will pick you up at your hotel for the hour and a half journey through the Northern plains until you reach Los Chiles, a village close to the Nicaraguan border.

At Los Chiles you board a boat that will take you around the river on a floating safari through the rainforest. Here you will be able to see many different types of birds, especially during the dry season. Among the most common are the Anhinga, the Roseate Spoonbill, Wood Storks and the jabiru, the largest bird in Central America. On the shore are Howler Monkeys, Spider Monkeys, White-faced Monkeys and Three-Toed sloth.

Walk to the waterfall

This tour leaves from the town of La Fortuna at 7:30 am and heads towards the National Park, and once you get there, it starts to get really interesting. At the beginning of Tenorio National Park you will begin a five mile hike into the tropical rainforests until you reach Los Teñideros, the place where two clear water streams merge and turn into the light blue colour which the river is named after. Here you can relax in the natural hot springs.

Afterwards, continue your hike exploring the hidden wonders in the rainforest, such as a wide variety of wildlife and unique, endemic flora. As you walk along the trail, the greatest feature of this national park will appear before your eyes - the breathtakingly beautiful Rio Celeste waterfall. As a reward after your hike, you will be treated to an exquisite Costa Rican lunch, before heading back to your hotel.

Enjoy a great day of White Water Rafting in either class three or four rapids. Both rivers, the Toro and the Sarapiqui, offer some of Costa Rica’s best rafting with big waves, technical rapids and continuous whitewater. Your journey begins with a one hour scenic drive through the Eastern part of central Costa Rica across beautiful pineapple, papaya and yucca fields with Volcano Arenal as a backdrop.

Once you reach the river highly skilled guides will review the rules and safety guidelines and tell you the jobs you have to do as paddlers. Then you will take the plunge and head down river enjoying the scenery as well as a thrilling ride. Halfway along you “re-fuel” on the river bank with some tropical fruit. At the end of the trip a cold drink and dry towel await before a short ride to have a delicious local lunch.
