The accommodation in SA was fantastic. The Qatar flights were not great. Excellent plane with reasonable legroom but the food and offhand service were shocking - to the extent that we would not choose that airline again.

BA's handling of firearms is a fiasco. An expensive fiasco. The protocol BA told you did not match what T3 security chose to do, and G4 [the outsource that manages firearms paperwork landside] stated that T3 security are out of step with T5 security AND head office. I paid an additional £315 to get my rifle onto BA059 and charging for the carriage of the ammunition case per a second firearm is a travesty. I am appalled at BA's lack of professionalism in central bookings, in T3 security and their T3 ticketing.
