Today you sail to Komombo and visit the twin temple with one side dedicated to the Crocodile God Sobek, the other to the Falcon God Horus. Sail back to Aswan and in the afternoon and visit the Botanical Garden by felucca. Enjoy a cocktail reception in the evening with entertainment on the Mango island.
A whole day sailing the Nile. Time to relax in the sun on deck or enjoy one of many spa treatments. On arrival in the evening at Edfu visit the Temple of Edfu, the best preserved temple of the ancient world, dedicated to Horus the Falcon God. Dinner and overnight in Edfu.
Today you sail on to Luxor arriving after lunch. Visit the stunning Karnak temple and well presented Luxor Museum before returning to the ship for dinner. Overnight in Luxor where you might want to go ashore and visit the old Winter Palace hotel and enjoy a cold beer on the terrace overlooking the Nile or see a sound and light show at Karnak.
Today is perhaps the highlight of the trip when you cross the Nile to explore the West Bank of ancient Thebes. Visit the Valley of the Kings, with its royal tombs, King Tut's tomb, and the temple of Madinat Habu and on the way back stop at the Colossus of Memnon. Later sail from Luxor to Quina for a private visit to the Temple of Dendara. Overnight in Quina.
Begin today with another visit to the West Bank seeing the Valley of the Noble’s tombs, Dier El Madina, the site of a very special workman’s village, whose craftsmen built and decorated the tombs of the Pharaohs and tour the Temple of Hatchepsut. Later visit impressive Luxor Temple followed by a farewell reception with live music at the club lounge. Overnight in Luxor.
Today after a leisurely breakfast you say farewell to your luxury cruiser. Possibly stay on in Luxor, where there is so much to see and do, and extend your holiday, or head for the airport for your flight home taking with you a lifetime of memories.
