On this tour you'll really experience the benefit of travelling in a small group: We can overnight in places in the National Parks where the crowds can't!

Day 1: Vancouver / Kamloops / Chase
Your guide will meet you at your hotel this morning. Travel out to the Fraser River Delta and into the Coast Mountain Range past Hope and on to Kamloops. Arrive at Little Shuswap Lake.
Overnight in Chase

Day 2: Chase / Revelstoke / Banff
Travel through the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains to the Rockies passing through Revelstoke and Rogers Pass, stopping at Glacier National Park Information Centre. Get a glimpse of the hardships endured in this feat of railway building. Stops at Emerald Lake and Lake Louise. End the day with a tour of Banff.

Day 3: Lake Louise / Banff
Enjoy the beauty of the Rockies. We travel today along the Icefields Parkway and overdose on beautiful glaciers, lakes, mountains and wildlife. Check that your batteries are charged and you have lots of film because you're sure to get good use out of your camera today.

Day 4: Banff / Fernie
Head south more sightseeing and exploring, taking note of the change in the landscape as we head for the Kootenays. Overnight in Fernie - designated the coolest town in North America by Rolling Stone Magazine

Day 5: Glacier Park
Cross the US border today and continue down through the mountains to Helena.

Day 6: Yellowstone Park
North entrance to Yellowstone. The world's first national park is home to buffalo, elk and over a thousand geysers, spectacular to watch.

Day 7: Yellowstone Park, Grand Tetons
Our tour of the National Park includes Yellowstone Lake, Hayden Meadow and Yellowstone Falls. Also the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, as well as whimsical mud holes, and world famous 'Old Faithful'. Leave Yellowstone. Go right into The Grand Tetons.
Overnight Jackson Hole area
Day 8: Salt Lake City
Leave our hotel and travel out from the Wilds of the Grand Tetons to Salt Lake City.

Day 9: Capital Reef National Park
Explore Salt Lake City and the Mormon Centre then head for Bryce Canyon National Park. We will spend the next two nights near Zion Park, conveniently placed to visit Zion and Bryce.
2 nights in Zion National Park area.
Day 10: Bryce Canyon
Get up early to see the sunrise and explore Bryce Canyon National Park. Its rocks have been sculpted by erosion into unique pillar formations called 'hoodoos', towering as high as office buildings - amazing evidence of nature at its finest.
Day 11: Zion Park
Visit Zion National Park. If you try to picture how this was formed you'll go as squirrelly as the rocks. From here we head East to the south rim of the Grand Canyon.
2 nights in Grand Canyon National Park
Day 12: Grand Canyon
Drive along the panoramic South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It's futile to attempt a description here.
Overnight Grand Canyon Village
Day 13: Grand Canyon
Free day to meditate on the drama of the Canyon. Optional walks down into the canyon, helicopter tours or simply sightseeing along the southern rim. Leave the canyon at the end of the day. Continue west along the historic gold trail to Kingman.
Overnight Kingman
Day 14: Death Valley
Today we travel around Las Vegas to Death Valley. Descend to 800ft below sea level to the site of the 49'ers and their deathly ordeal in the salt beds of Death Valley.
Overnight Furnace Creek, Death Valley
Day 15: Las Vegas
We spend most of the day exploring this valley, and then head back to the "pleasure Island" of Nevada, Las Vegas. The tour ends in Las Vegas; overnight accommodation is available at the Hilton Grand Vacations On the Strip for an additional $155 per night per room.
Prices are per person based on twin share and include 14 nights accommodation with private facilities in moderate/first class hotels and comfortable lodges, 12 breakfasts, 2 dinners; hotel pick up and drop off, park fees, taxes, all guiding, instruction and equipment as per itinerary; transportation by air conditioned minivan.
