The trees were planted around the city for all to enjoy, but the best place to see them in bloom is on the Tidal Basin, where nearly 1,700 trees line the water.
Kite Festival

You’ll find more than just pale pink petals scattered across the city in spring, with more than 200 international cultural performances expected to take place, as well as over 90 other special events. From the 20th March through to the 13th April, D.C will pay homage to Japanese culture, as well as the city’s own rich and unique heritage with fireworks, food stalls and the famous kite flying festival.
