Two Weeks in Australia

There's a common myth about visiting Australia - that you only have to do it once and usually in one long trip. Well today, we're going to show you how two weeks is enough for an Aussie escape and how your options to do so are plentiful.

First up is an incredible opportunity to tour the very best of Australia's West Coast over two weeks. The Western Wonderland tour takes you through stunning scenery on a busy itinerary over the course of 15 days. Begin in Perth and kick off your adventure with a rewarding city tour. Relax in Kings Park and marvel over views of Swan River, stroll around the Anzac Memorial and admire the colours of the wildflower gardens. See in the evening with a welcome dinner before you head east in the morning.

You'll then proceed through Kalgoorlie, Esperance and Albany over the next few days, taking in spectacular rock formations, a guided walk through the Super Pit gold mine and seeing the mesmerising sights of Thistle Cove and Lucky Bay - where you may just spot grey kangaroos. See the unforgettable sight of Esperance's Pink Lake before you move on to more enviable views at Margaret River, before you get a chance to sample the best local food and culture in Fremantle.

Your journey draws to a close with 4 days at Monkey Mia and Geraldton, where you'll get a true feel of the silky soft sands of Australia's beaches. Another chance to spot some wildlife, wild dolphins will often swim to the shallows to say hello and sailing trips to go in search of more marine life are also available. Visit the Kalbarri and Nambung National Parks either side of your mini beach break and see everything from falcons hunting to the other-worldy Pinnacles. You'll then return to Perth, fulfilled, inspired and enlightened.

Another adventure to consider would be the Australian Highlights tour, with a wide array of sights and experiences to entice you on this 13 day tour taking you from Melbourne to Sydney. Diverse red desert landscapes, cosmopolitan cities and the impossibly clear waters of the Great Barrier Reef await your arrival here, ready to make this holiday one that you will never forget.

Start with a few days exploring Melbourne, including a city sights tour which will take you on a walking route through the little laneways, arcades, the cafe society and the eye-catching street art. Then enjoy a day of leisure (and your choice of optional excursions) before you take flight to Alice Springs en route to the Ayers Rock Resort. Bask in the resort's facilities before witnessing the stiking colour changes of Ayers Rock at sunset complimented with gourmet canapes and wine.

After spending time learning the history of the area and the traditional owners of the land, depart the area and head towards Cairns - but only after a fun introduction to Western Desert Art with a local Aboriginal artist! Learn the meanings of their totems, before you learn to complete your own painting as a memento to take home. The dazzling experiences only continue in Cairns when you board a high speed catamaran and cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef. Take the plunge and snorkel down to this natural living wonder to get up close, or stay dry and explore the reef from the comfort of a semi-submersible craft instead.

Spend some time at Cairns Wildlife Dome and acquaint yourself with some Australian wildlife, including the cuddly koala, then depart for Sydney - the final stop on this tour. Again, you'll kick off your stay with a tour, but this time you'll get a look in and around the iconic Sydney Opera House. Visit the famous Bondi Beach and take to the water for a lunch cruise as you take in the sights with freedom, before you depart two days later.

With these spectacular itineraries on offer, plus more here, you're spoilt for choice for where and how to visit Australia. For something completely different, why not explore the freedom and the excitement of a Two Week Motorhome Adventure? And if you fancy staying a bit longer, why not combine two tours into one epic adventure?
