Today, we're bringing you some exciting news from stateside coming out of Florida, Denver and New York City.
Exciting developments for Star Wars fans, as it has been announced that the familiar lands from the Star Wars universe will be coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
Guests will arrive along with the First Order and find themselves in the midst of a tense battle between Resistance fights and Stormtroopers. Better still, guests will be able to climb aboard the legendary Millennium Falcon and even pilot the fastest ship in the galaxy with full control, flying through space and firing laser cannons. The news comes shortly after plans were announced to bring a new Star Wars Stage Show to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
In April this year, a new rail line will run from Denver Airport all the way to Downtown Union Station making it easier than ever to get between the city and its nearest airport.
For just $9 each way, travellers will be able to take the commuter rail known as the "A line" on a round-the-clock service. Trains will leave every 15 minutes between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. and every 30 minutes outside of those hours to ensure sufficient service throughout the day.
The line will service eight stations in total, including the new Westin Denver International Airport Hotel and in the stylish River North Art District (RiNo for short) which has a growing reputation thanks to its trendy cafes and art studios. The news comes as a boost to Denver, opening it up to guests of the states as a viable city break location during their visit.
Finally, news of an exciting and cost-effective way to see the fabulous New York skyline from a vantage point that trumps the Empire State Building. No, we're not claiming there's a higher point to see the Big Apple from than the 102nd floor, but we are claiming there's a better one...
The Hyatt Time Square's Bar 54 takes rooftop bars to a whole new level, quite literally. The highest rooftop bar in the city boasts a unique combination of stunning views, excellent service and comfort thanks to its design: a bubble.
The outdoor terrace of the bar has two bubbles (east and west) kitted out with mid-century furniture to provide a cosy vantage point. Blankets and food are on offer to keep you warmed up and the two drink minimum per guest still offers value for money. Drinks start at around £18 each, so your visit will cost about the same as a trip to the very top of the Empire State, but with two delicious cocktails in hand.
