The Rhythm of Grenada

Grenada is an island that is very easy on the senses. The stunning coastal views, the taste and aroma of traditional Grenadian cuisine and the heavenly, silky-soft feel of the golden beaches. All of which ensure that Grenada long remains in the memory. For April 2016, we shall be adding the sounds eminating from the very first Pure Grenada music festival, the perfect excuse for a sun-soaked, cultural visit, full of fun.

The island of Grenada will host its first Pure Grenada Music Festival in April 2016 and is expected to draw in an international crowd for 6 days of pure live music in Port Louis, Calivigny Island, a mobile stage and even an ambitious floating concert in Carenage. The festival will also feature a host of artists famous both locally and internationally, including Joss Stone, Madison Violet and Etana.

The event will showcase the finest in Grenadian music, hospitality and natural beauty as it features a host of local bands in multiple unique venues. Guests will be encouraged to take in the great, diverse beauty of the island as they give local bands a greater degree of recognition off the island.

This is your perfect excuse to discover the beauty of Grenada and the perfect chance to experience the vibrant culture of this incredible island. Take it all in at the Festival Village at Port Louis, right in the hearts of St. George's - "the prettiest capital in the Caribbean". From here, you'll have the island's tourism hub within easy reach, from the charming and traditional buildings, to the Carenage harbour, you'll relish wandering down the busy, narrow streets of the town. Backed by volcanic hills, you're eyes will naturally be drawn upwards, as you gaze towards Fort George and the surrounding greenery.

To give the festival our seal of approval and in the hope that it can establish a legacy in Grenada, we're bringing you a fabulous offer for the Calabash Hotel in St. Georges. Book a 7 night stay with DialAFlight and receive $200 of resort credit (per room per stay) PLUS a complimentary room upgrade for you to relish.

Calabash Spa

The Calabash Hotel combines five star service and luxury in a decadent and intimate environment to serve as an idyllic Caribbean getaway. Discover the soothing spa where you can rest up and rejuvenate as you are pampered by fabulous treatments after a long day of exploring and dancing.

Moreover, you'll love kicking back at the fabulous beach club with a cocktail, or with a glass of wine at the Rhodes Restaurant. Run by celebrity Chef Gary Rhodes, the restaurant strikes a delightful balance between British and Caribbean cuisine created with style and passion.

So if it's culture, sun and natural beauty you're after, the Pure Grenada Music Festival could be for you!
