Myleen Klass launches BA’s summer schedule

Presenter and pop star Myleene Klass has teamed up with British Airways to help promote the launch of its new summer schedule. The star has encouraged BA customers to book their holidays away this summer and escape the freezing temperatures in the UK.

The former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here contestant posed on an airport runway sporting a rain coat and bikini for the launch of the new schedule, which will see services to countries around the world being increased for the peak holiday periods. New flights to Tenerife, Alicante and Lanzarote have also been launched recently in preparation for the summer rush.

"Take advantage of British Airways' summer schedule starting, grab your bikini, you know I'm partial to mine, and let's get out of this freezing weather!" said Klass speaking about the new timetable.

British Airways has also introduced two new long-haul routes this season, now flying from Gatwick to Sri Lanka and Heathrow to Chengdu in China later in the year. Flights to Palma were also introduced last month and flights from London City airport to Granada in Spain are due to start in July.

The airline has also made some changes to its existing routes, moving its flights to Dusseldorf, Toulouse, Zagreb, Leeds Bradford and Almaty to Heathrow’s Terminal 5 as well as its flight to Larnaca, Singapore and Sydney. BA flights to Amman, Shanghai, Beirut, Nairobi, Hyderabad, Boston, Phoenix, Jeddah, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro and Toronto will all also see extra services added during the summer months to keep up with high demand.
