Fly to Canada to explore the sights by train

Visitors to Canada are being encouraged to explore the country via its trains in 2013. The Canadian Tourism Commission wants more tourists to explore the country using the Canadian railways. Visitors to Canada travelling by train will get the chance to see unique sights, with train tracks that run through mountains, ski slopes and green forests. The services provided on board the trains are equally special, with spa services being offered on some trains, adding a luxurious twist to the journey. Tourists are being encouraged to take advantage of the great journeys Canada’s many train routes have to offer, including the Polar Bear Express, which promises the chance of seeing polar bears in the wild. Other unique train experiences available include the Sea to Sky Climb in British Columbia, a train that ventures deep into the snowy mountains, and Le Train du Massif de Charlevoix which takes passengers along the side of  the St Lawrence River and through tall forests. The Canadian Tourism Commission is also encouraging couples looking for an unusual getaway to use the railways for a romantic retreat. Via Rail’s Canadian offers overnight stays in deluxe double cabins on a route that takes guests from Toronto to Vancouver. Couples will be treated to candlelit dinners on board the art deco-themed train and fully flat beds with 'his and hers' bathrooms to relax and unwind in. Guests will also enjoy great views of the Rockies and British Columbia’s Fraser Canyon during the three night train journey. Image sources: 1 2
