Elephant Hills for Easter 2017

Our last Thailand-themed blog highlighted some of the best secluded beach spots to claim for yourself, but today's blog will show you that beaches are just a small part of any holiday here. In fact today's focus is bigger. Much bigger!

Elephant Hills are Thailand's first luxury tented rainforest camps and will provide you with an experience you'll never forget (get it?). Such is the popularity of this experience, that 2016 is already entirely booked up, so why not get in there early for Easter 2017? Call us on 0844 251 0151 to find out more!

Combining the camp concept of African national parks with the tropical forest environment of Thailand, the Elephant Camp comprises of over 30 luxurious tents which put glamping to shame. Alternatively, the floating Rainforest Camp is almost alone in being a premier floating camp and can be found on the emerald green waters of Cheow Larn Lake.

Your camp will be your base to relax and rejuvenate between activities on this exciting three day itinerary, ready to introduce you to the very best of southern Thailand. Better still, the camps are situated near to Phuket, Krabi and Khao Lak, making this the perfect add-on to a Thai getaway.

Upon your arrival to your base in the world's oldest evergreen forest, you'll be shown to your deluxe accommodation so you can settle in and perhaps enjoy a quick dip in the pool. Next, it's time to begin your nature adventure with a canoe ride down the Sok River to make your approach to see the real stars of this tour.

Observe the elephants from afar, watch them wash, play and enjoy their natural habitat. Your visit will help you gain a true appreciation for these creatures and while you take care of yourselves on this relaxing holiday, you'll also take care of the elephants too! Help chop up and feed the elephants' food and relish some bonding time with them as you give them a richly deserved wash.

Embrace some of the local culture as you are treated to a performance from a local school, as well as the finest Thai fare as prepared by local guides and chefs to prepare you for the rest of your adventure. You'll cruise along the emerald green waters of Cheow Larn Lake to get to Elephant Hills Rainforest camp where you'll enjoy a spot of lunch before taking a kayak tour around the camp to marvel in your stunning surrounds. A night of delicious food and drink, as well as some leisure time then awaits you.

On the final day of this captivating tour you'll take to the forest for an awe-inspiring walk to explore the wonders of the area. Along the way you'll encounter mystic caves, colourful flora and unforgettable sights, before you eventually have to bid this alluring place goodbye. The only challenge will be having as much fun as the elephants!
