Culinary delights: The top 5 restaurants in Dubai

When you think of Dubai you most probably imagine warm, sandy beaches, opulent hotel suites and flash, fast cars but that’s not all the city has to offer – the restaurants dotted around Dubai are some of the best in the world and well worth a visit. For years Dubai has been cooking its way up the culinary chain and now has one of the most exciting restaurant scenes around today.

Like everything in Dubai, the restaurants in the city live by a ‘bigger the better’ motto that has led to some impressive names setting up camp in the UAE.  From fusion cuisine to celebrity owned bistros, here are the top five restaurants for anyone taking a holiday to Dubai!

Fans of British chef Gary Rhodes are in luck as the well-known foodie loves the city so much that he has actually set up shop there. Those of you with a pricey palate should not miss this restaurant when in Dubai, but book ahead as the place is known to get packed during peak times.

Best for belly busting brunch –Al Qasr
Al Qasr

If wagyu beef burgers, scrumptious cakes and classic cocktails sound good to you then brunch at the Al Qasr is a must when visiting Dubai. Brunch is from 12:30 to 16:00 and starts from AED 450 per person.
