Brits bare all at beach hotel in Mallorca

Skinny Dippers, a nudist hotel in Mallorca, plans to double in size following a surge in British guests looking to strip off on holiday. The hotel, located near Mallorca’s famous nudist beach Es Trenc, is now looking to add seven extra rooms to cope with the sudden high demand.

The naturist hotel is now fully booked for the summer season leading to British owners Grant and Jordi Hodges deciding to expand the five-room boutique retreat. Skinny Dippers has also reported that it is already fully booked for June 2014 with Brits flying to Mallorca eager to spend their summer holidays in their birthday suits.

"This year we have had 95 per cent repeat bookings... As people were leaving last year, they booked in for this year. We're completely full from April to the end of September as well as for next June," owner Grant Hodges told the MailOnline.

"There are lots and lots of naturist beaches on the island and the locals are very open-minded to accept tourists - they are very tolerant. If you take your clothes off on a remote quiet beach, nobody really cares," he added.

It is not just Skinny Dippers that is seeing an increase in interest in naturist hotels, according to Andrew Welch of the British Naturism organisation.  "Millions of people around the world are doing it and naturism is expanding all the time,” explained Welch. "Attitudes are changing and the internet has given people access to information. You no longer have to go to the library and order a book, just search online and you can find plenty of places to go.”
