Day 1: Sydney, Hay
Crossing the Great Dividing Range and travelling through the rural townships of Mittagong and Goulburn, our scenic drive takes us through the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area to Hay.

Day 2: Mildura, Barossa Valley
Follow the mighty Murray River to Mildura and Renmark. Journey to the Barossa Valley and sample some of Australia’s finest regional wines at Jacob's Creek Winery.

Day 3: Outback Centre, Lake Hart
Visit the Wadlata Outback Centre. We travel to Woomera then past Lake Hart. On to Coober Pedy, the opal capital. Two Night Stay: Coober Pedy, Desert Cave Hotel.

Day 4: Coober Pedy, Opals
Enjoy a full day exploring the town of Coober Pedy. Don a hard hat, grab a pick and go fossicking for opals. Drive through the Breakaways, a dramatic desert landscape featured in many movies.

Day 5: Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset
Travel over desert plains into the Northern Territory. Enjoy a sunset drink at Uluru.

Day 9: Freedom of Choice Touring

This afternoon, tour Alice Springs, visiting the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the School of the Air Base and Telegraph Station. Adventure Options also available.

Day 10: Bond Springs Cattle Station
Station. Visit Bond Springs Station and enjoy a rare insight into the workings of a remote cattle station with a guided tour. Explore Karlwekarlwe (Devils Marbles), mysterious granite boulders near Tennant Creek. Visit the Battery Museum and enjoy sunset drinks.

Day 11: Mataranka Thermal Pool
Enjoy a refreshing drink at the famous Daly Waters Pub. Cross Elsey Station to Mataranka to swim in the thermal pool.

Day 12: Katherine Gorge Guided Cruise
We enter Nitmiluk National Park. Cruise past the sandstone walls of Katherine Gorge, with a local guide providing commentary on the wildlife and rock art. Travel to World Heritage Kakadu National Park and visit the Bowali Visitors Centre.

Day 13: Ubirr Rock Art, Yellow Water Sunset Cruise
Visit the Ubirr rock art site to see ancient Aboriginal rock paintings (subject to road access). Visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre then cruise the stunning Yellow Water billabong at sunset, keeping an eye out for birdlife.

Day 14: Jumping Crocodile Cruise, Darwin Town Tour, Farewell
Board a Jumping Crocodile Cruise on the Adelaide River and keep a look out for saltwater crocodiles. Travel to Darwin and enjoy a city highlights tour. Stroll through the Botanic Gardens which date back to the 1870s. Tonight is our Farewell Dinner in Darwin.
